On June 1946, an octagon-shaped building in Evansville, Indiana, named Merry Go Round, opened its doors to the public. In true 50's style with neon, curb girls, and convertibles, this place was hopping from the beginning.

When the mid-sixties rolled around an addition to the Merry Go Round Restaurant and a new menu, aimed at family dining, was born. Full sit down service with super plate lunches and great sandwiches were the order of the day.
